FAQ

Below are answers to some of our most asked questions. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact us for further help.

How will I know when I need a new roof?

Each roof’s lifespan will depend on a variety of items such as the quality of installation, materials, and exposure to the elements. If there is a leak, you should have a professional take a look as soon as possible to avoid water damage. It’s also important to have a professional who can get on the roof for any issues you can’t see from the ground such as mold or damaged shingles.

There is air leaking through my windows and doors. Can you fix it?

Instead of small fixes to cover the issue, the best way to fix drafty windows and doors would be to replace them with a better quality.  Installing new, more energy efficient windows and doors, will use less energy, make you feel more comfortable in your home, and can help save money on your utility bill!

There are leaves stuck in my gutters. Is this bad?

Gutters are meant to move water away from the house to protect the foundation, prevent basement floods, wall damage, and even insect infestation. If your gutters are clogged and the water doesn't move away your home, the foundation can weaken over time, and moisture can enter your home. Standing water can attract mosquitoes. It's best to keep your gutters clean and working properly to avoid any of these problems.

How long will siding last?

Depending on the material, some sidings can last longer than others. Even if your siding appears in good condition, if you feel drafts inside your home near walls and windows, or around electrical outlets these are signs that your siding might need an upgrade.
